I'm honored you're considering going on your healing journey with me. I am confident I can assist you in reaching your therapy goals. I have experience in group therapy (est 2014) & individual therapy (est. 2020). My focus is in helping adults recover from childhood attachment traumas that manifest as anxiety, depression, PTSD, overwhelm, & adjustment issues. I am a certified yoga instructor (YTT 200), in which I incorporate into treatment. Together, we'll create a plan for healing that makes you feel witnessed & safe. During our time together, you will find that my approach to therapy always centers around a trauma informed lens.
I use Internal Family Systems (IFS Institute level 1 trained), Yoga, & Hypnotherapy. I can help with integration of psychedelic experiences (MAPS trained) & offer treatment through a spiritual lens if applicable. I offer individual yoga sessions (trauma informed), & 2-3 hr intensive sessions where we can combine these modalities to work on a targeted issue.
I provide a judgement free space for you to be able to make the positive changes you are seeking. I can't wait to meet you! Note: I do not condone or support the use of illegal substances. I only offer integration of prior psychedelic experiences.

Hello! Happy you are here, and grateful to be a part of your journey. In life, there is so much to be proud of, but I firmly believe that working on oneself and choosing to continue to grow is one of the most powerful and special decisions we can make for ourselves and our relationships. My goal is to walk with you through making that choice, learn more about you, and create a safe environment where you can be authentic, vulnerable, and be understood.
I received my Masters in Social Work from the University of Denver and have a range of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. I spent some time as an advocate at the District Attorney's Office in Colorado and worked with victims of various crimes, developing trauma-informed practices, crisis interventions, and deep understanding of domestic violence, grief, and anxiety.
Using therapeutic modalities and skills including but not limited to, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness Practices, Strength-Based Approaches, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Holistic Therapy and Approaches, we will work together to move towards healing and growth and develop strategies to help overcome personal obstacles in life.
In my spare time, I love being outdoors with my family, traveling, trying new foods, and exploring local coffee shops!
Excited to meet you and looking forward to the positive work we will accomplish together.

Working through my own personal struggles to find a more balanced life is what brought me to the counseling profession and what makes me an effective therapist. I take an action-based approach to help my client's reach their desired goals while taking the time to explain the process of therapy as we move in a direction that successfully addresses your specific needs. While our exact circumstances may be different, I often feel like I've walked in my client’s shoes, understand where they are coming from, and can help them build the confidence to solve their own problems using proven therapeutic tech
My personal style is solution focused, so rather than concentrate strictly on the cause, we work collaboratively to focus on what therapeutic tools fit your personality and then implement them in a way that suits you best. I’m here to help you build the skills to manage life’s struggles, bring balance back into your life, and fulfill your purpose.
I'm here to listen, be supportive, help you set exceedingly challenging yet attainable goals, and cheer you on as you progress! Mahjabeen is trauma informed and trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy. She has clinical experience in working with individuals with depression, anxiety, ADD/ADHD, physical abuse, emotional abuse, emotional neglect, and sexual abuse. In this, she utilizes a “non-pathologizing” model and enjoys collaboratively and empathetically working with clients to help them develop a deeper understanding of their personhood and their stories, with the goal of empowering them to rewrite those stories as needed so that they can experience true connectedness with themselves, others, and the world. Connection is a central aspect of her work as human beings are wired for connection and trauma is often the result of both real and perceived disconnection.
Furthermore, in her work, she integrates multiple theoretical viewpoints (Existential therapy, Dialectical Behavior therapy, Acceptance and Commitment therapy, and Relational Cultural therapy) to help clients understand the universal life conditions that all human beings experience, in conjunction with helping them understand and clarify their own individual values, beliefs, and attachment styles. She also provides tools to help clients regulate themselves and increase their internal safety and security so that they can begin to be radically honest with themselves and thus have a necessary foundation for creating lasting, meaningful, personally aligned changes in their lives. Throughout her work with clients, she remains committed to a high level of both multicultural competency and an awareness of the myriad of systemic disparities and how they adversely impact/ present barriers to the healthy development of individual psyches across various intersectional identities.

I work with teens and adults to help them through struggles with phases of life, dealing with depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, medical issues affecting mental health, general stress, the “I feel like something is wrong with me but I don’t know what it is” struggle, and all the other common things that affect us. I work with families, couples, and individuals who need someone to help balance everything, learn coping and communication skills, and create healthy boundaries. We will process any trauma that may be related and causing additional stress in your life along the way. I love working together with others to help them answers.
I am trained in a variety of modalities including talk therapy, mindfulness/meditation, EMDR, IFS, CBT, DBT, and am constantly striving to increase my knowledge to be able to offer the best care I can to my clients. We’re a team in the work of unraveling the past and finding the connections to current triggers. I want to help you get what you need to thrive.
If this is your first time seeking out therapy, welcome. I know it is all overwhelming. I want you to know you are not alone. There is hope. You are not broken, so you don’t need to be fixed. Everything inside is just mixed up and making it difficult to live your best life. Come in. Let me help you make sense of it all so you can be the best version of you.

Have you already tried traditional talk therapy and felt disappointed by it? Perhaps you are skeptical about trying therapy at all. Either way, I am here to help by holding a safe space for you to explore your inner world with the use of EMDR therapy. Many of the clients I work with suffer from trauma, anxiety, depression, PTSD, life transitions, and come from all walks of life. With clients, I have a compassionate approachable demeanor. Clients warm up to me quickly and I enjoy helping them to reach their goals.
I am here to tell you EMDR therapy is a key ingredient for finally finding some relief! Utilizing bilateral stimulation, we allow the brain to do its work to process memories that become “stuck”, causing fears, anxiety, and depression in our present day lives.
After addressing the past and present we will take control of the future and run protocols to assist with any worry about tomorrow. This amazing work is also easily completed virtually.
